Tall Officer's boots. exellent reproductions of period boots. Made on copies of period lasts. Pegged soles, steel heels. Built for abuse.

We are proud to offer the only boots made today from the proper "waxed flesh" type of leather used during the 19th century. Only one tannery in the United States still offers this leather. This is how the boots officer's wore realy looked. None of this "fuzzy suede".
Boots are the correct styling using one piece of leather for the vamp and the front of the shaft. Our heels have a high quality stiffner in them to give years of use. We now put the heel stiffner on the outside of the boots, just like one pair of my originals. This gives you a smooth seamless inside to reduce the wearpoints (on you, ouch).
The soles are fully pegged, and the heels have our standard horseshoe heelrims.
An exellent boot for both a mounted and foot officer's impression. Style is right on. Materials are right on, They're good.

To help with the fitting of our products and to lessen your worries about ordering boots and shoes through the mail I have came up with the following procedure to help with fitting your shoes. Please do the following measurments and then compare them to the sizing information on shown in the pop up window by the arrow below.
1. Take a tape measure. Place it on the floor with the zero end up against the wall. Stand with your heel against the wall and record the measurment to the tip of your longest toe. to the nearest 16th of an inch DO NOT ADD LENGTH, I have looked after that for you.
2. Take your tape measure again, wrap it around the widest part of your foot ( approx 1/3 the way back from your toes) and record the circumference to the nearest 16th of an inch. Don't forget to wear thoes great big ugly wool socks you will be wearing on the field!!
What this does is it gives us your length and width in inches. Compare these to the pop up below to assist you in selecting your size.
